Meet Father Domadious
Heg. Fr. Domadious Sarabamoun was born on October 28, 1969, in Egypt. He was ordained on February 13, 1999, by H.E. Metropolitan Domadious of Giza. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Cairo University (1993) and completed studies toward a Master’s degree in Anesthesiology at Cairo University in 1998. In addition, he completed theology studies at the Clergy Seminary of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo.
Throughout his ministry, he has served in multiple dioceses, including the Diocese of Giza, Egypt (1999–2003 and 2006–2009), Amsterdam, Netherlands (2004–2006), Virginia, USA (2009–2020), and currently serves in the Diocese of Pennsylvania and its affiliated regions, where he has been serving since August 22, 2020. He was elevated to the rank of Hegumen on May 5, 2015, by H.G. Bishop Yohanna of North Giza and H.G. Bishop Zosima of the Atfeh Diocese.
